A lifeline for Cynthia Ofori-Akuffo

Cynthia, a mother of three beautiful children, lives in Aburi in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She is a seamstress and her husband Ebenezer is a teacher. They are devout Presbyterians and worship at the Presbyterian Church in Aburi.

A recent diagnosis of chronic kidney failure came as a shock to Cynthia and her family. Cynthia, the selfless caretaker and provider now needs dialysis to live. An option that is only available to her if she can afford to enroll in the Korle Bu Hospital dialysis program in the capital city, Accra. Her condition has taken a devastating toll on the family emotionally and financially as Cynthia is unable to work and care for her family.

Urgent plea for help!

We urgently need to raise $2,000 (cost for approximately 3 months of dialysis) which is the minimum amount required to enroll at the Korle Bu Hospital dialysis program in Accra, Ghana. We are very hopeful that Cynthia’s condition will improve with dialysis treatment and that she will be able to go back to work and care for her family.
